Cook County Land Bank Authority names Benjamin Van Horne Green Developer of the Year

Thank you to the Cook County Land Bank Authority for recognizing Greenline Homes’ Benjamin Van Horne as its “Green Developer of the Year” at its annual awards luncheon.

The Land Bank Authority works to address the large inventory of vacant residential, industrial and commercial property in Cook County — its mission is to

acquire, hold, and transfer interest in real property throughout Cook County to: promote redevelopment and reuse of vacant, abandoned, foreclosed or tax-delinquent properties; support targeted efforts to stabilize neighborhoods; stimulate residential, commercial and industrial development- all in ways that are consistent with goals and priorities established by local government partners and other community stakeholders.

The Cook County Land Bank Authority has been a great partner and source for properties on which we can develop homes. Also as part of its mission, it recognizes commercial and housing property developers each year — we were honored to be recognized at the 2024 awards luncheon at Venue West.
